Developing a Triangle Angle Ruler may seem simple - just CNC machine it to a perfect 90° and paint it you're color, right? If only. To develop one of the world's best rafter square, we had to first engineer the EZ-Read finish, our revolutionary anti-glare coating that diffracts sunlight rather than reflecting it, so it looks as crisp in full sun as it does in the shade. The EZ-Read finish also increases friction to better secure your square against your lumber when using it as a saw guide.
EZ-Read is a high-contrast, non-glare finish that scatters ambient light so the only thing you see is our clear, crisp, laser-etched graduations.
Laser EtchedPaint can wear off; laser etching can't. So we laser etched this square. Simple as that.
Saw Guide & ProtractorOne of the Triangle Angle Ruler's most popular applications is as a saw guide. It can be used directly with the saw against the square for cross cuts or angled cuts using the etched protractor scale. It can also be used indirectly, using the scribing notches to create a saw cut line for rip cuts.
